Come join us at the 17th annual Shoporama on Sunday, December 8th at the Vernon Recreation Centre this holiday season.  This merry mix of artisans, entrepreneurs and home-based businesses from all over the province and the Okanagan offers an excellent selection of:

• specialty foods and home baking

Admission to this event is free but you are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for the Santa Toy Club or a food donation for the Food Bank.

Merry Little Christmas Teas

Come celebrate a unique holiday tradition on December 15 from 2 – 4pm with family or friends at Mackie Lake Tea House.  Experience a traditional tea complete with sandwiches, scones and pastries while enjoying holiday music.  This unique festival is part of a guided tour of the home set in a holiday theme.

A Christmas Carol

This fun filled family event brings the traditional story of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol to life with audience members filling the lead roles.  Come early and be a part of the free Christmas cookie decorating.  Book your tickets today and see you on December 15th at 2pm.

Winter Sleigh Rides

Horse Drawn Okanagan invites you to experience the magic of the holidays in a horse drawn sleigh.  Horses, sleigh bells, hot chocolate and caroling around the fire are all part of this wonderful tradition.  New this year are visits with miniature horses and goats as well as pony rides on the weekends.  The fun starts on December 21 and runs until the 27th of the month.

New Year’s Eve 2020 – en Blanc

This winter land New Years’ experience features live music from the Kinshira Performance Troupe, and DJ Krucial K to have you dancing the night away.  All guests are asked to dress in proper attire to maintain the integrity of the event.

Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve Party

Ring in the New Year 20’s style with a live band playing Jazz Fusion until the clock strikes midnight.  In the new year, the band is replaced with a DJ who will be playing all your favourites to keep the dance floor rocking into the wee hours. With a complimentary champagne toast and hourly door prizes, the Roaring 20’s New Year’s Eve party is a great way to welcome 2020.
