Although there aren't many beaches, there are several boat launches, parks, and places for picnics. You won't see any docks in front of the lakeshore homes on Swan Lake; they aren't allowed.

Across from Spell Golf is a historic O'Keefe Ranch, founded in 1867 as one of the largest cattle ranches in the British Columbia interior.
